Lucia started dancing in 2011 in Valencia, and has been seen on the dance floor since then. In 2014 she discovered Balboa and she got obsessed with this dance. Now she is dancing, competing and teaching internationally! Besides, she is also part of the management team at the Black Bottom Swing Dance Studio and organizes the Valencia Balboa Festival. For her, dancing Balboa is a continuous game with music and the fun of jazz dance in its purest form.

Javi is a swing dancer from Valencia who loves the joyful, human side of social dancing. Whether teaching Balboa, Lindy Hop, or Slow Bal, his classes focus on listening, connection, and the shared groove between partners.

Together with Lucía Galiana, he co-directs Black Bottom Swing School and organizes community-driven events like the Valencia Balboa Festival. Javi believes in dance as a playful and expressive language, and his teaching encourages curiosity, freedom, and musical dialogue.
